Lizette Arana Rios
Lizette Arana Rios currently serves as our Parent & Community Liaison. As well as this role, she is our Fundraising & Community Outreach Coordinator.
Andre Baldauf
Andre Baldauf is one-half of the American Studies class teaching a combination of American Literature and United States History.   Andre Baldauf has been teaching at New Tech since 2008. If not in his Political Studies class, Mr. Baldauf can be found modeling correct PE participation. If you look for Mr. Baldauf after school, he can be found near or in the the closest ocean.
Andrew Biggs
Andrew Biggs teaches the Government and Economics half of Political Studies. He graduated from New Tech in 2006 and is excited to have achieved his dream of returning as a staff member. His experience as a web developer finds its way into the classroom through a passion for technology/Internet literacy and nerdy memes.
Jeannette Cherrington
Jeanette has been with New Technology High School since it opened in 1996. She serves as our attendance secretary and registrar and is integral to keeping the school running smoothly. Jeanette is known for her positive attitude and big smile!
Jay Denna
Jay is a Campus Supervisor. You can also see him on Friday Night coaching Varsity football for Vintage High School.
Maria Duran
Maria is in charge of food services at New Tech High and ensures that our students are well nourished and eating healthy!
Nancy Hale
Ms. Hale has taught at New Tech for 10 years. She holds the record for having the most team teachers, but is delighted to be teaching American Studies with Mr. Baldauf once again. Ms. Hale has a BA in English from Northwestern University, a masters in Film from San Francisco State, and a teaching credential from Sonoma State. When not in Napa, Ms. Hale can be found traveling throughout the world.
Riley Johnson
Riley Johnson is the Principal at New Tech High. He previously served in the role of Assistant Principal for the 2014-2015 school year.  Prior to coming to California, Mr. Johnson taught for 5 years at New Tech Academy in Fort Wayne, IN. He earned both his bachelor's and master's degrees from Ball State University and enjoys watching sports, staying active, and spending time with family and friends.
Shaun Keeler
Shaun is a business-focused Network Administrator and Technical Support Professional with more than 15 years experience in the IT environment. He graduated from Incline High School in Incline Village Lake Tahoe, Nevada, and went to college in Colorado.
Michelle Markarian
Michele Markarian is our Instructional Assistant at New Tech High.   She has a BA from Sonoma State University in Sociology.  She supports the students and teachers in the classroom.  Michele is also a substitute teacher for NVUSD.
Maria Guadalupe Martinez-Ramirez
Maria Guadalupe Martinez-Ramirez is a school counselor at New Technology High School and Napa High School. She graduated from UC Berkeley in 1998 and graduate school at St. Mary's College in Moraga in 2000. She loves being a school counselor and supporting students. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her kids, going to the beach, going camping, dancing, painting, writing poetry, and taking long walks.
Dorothea McFarland
Dorthea is the mother of three teenagers. She has wanted to teach math and science since college. In anticipation of her children leaving home she went back to school to earn her teaching credential so that she would still be around kids when hers were gone. She has lived in Napa since 2001 and loves it. One of her biggest obsessions is the waste of resources that Americans are known for. She would be very interested in starting some sort of conservation club that gets something done here at New Tech conservation wise.
Susan Miller
Susan is the Assistant Principal at New Tech and is thrilled to be a part of such an amazing school. Prior to joining the New Tech team, Susan served as an instructional and school development coach at American Canyon High School. Susan has a BA from Sonoma State, and an MA in Education from Chapman University. Susan loves photography, travels as often as possible, and enjoys experiencing new cultures.
Kendra Parsons
Kendra Parsons is the Academic Specialist.  She joins the New Tech High in 2016-2017 coming to us as a math teacher and coach in Torrance, CA.
Denise Plowman
Denise is our campus supervisor, ensuring that our students are safe and contributing to our positive school culture. She also assists with our school's fundraising work, especially our family giving program.
Karen Provenza
Karen Provenza teaches 9th grade Communications Studies, a collaborative English and Drama class. She also specializes in strategies to assist language learners and struggling students to improve reading comprehension and writing skills. She's an avid swimmer and enjoys any activity that involves sharing ideas.
SuzAnne Wilson Regalia
SuzAnne Wilson Regalia is the English teacher in 12th grade Political Studies.  She began teaching at NTHS in 2011, and thrives on the innovation and imagination of our students and staff.  She holds a BFA in Performing Arts from Emerson College, an MFA in Theatre Arts from Sarah Lawrence College, and studied teaching at Sacramento State (Community College Faculty Certification) and Sonoma State (California Teaching Credential).
Erin Reilly
Erin Reilly has been the Resource Specialist at New Tech since 2009. As the school's Special Education teacher, she works closely with students, staff and families to make sure students' needs and learning accommodations are being met in the classroom. Outside of work, Erin's passions include her daughter and attending and performing at salsa dance workshops and conferences.
Anne Seveska
Anne Seveska is an English teacher.  She currently teaches World Studies.  Ms. Seveska is an avid writer and is currently her second stint at New Tech High.
Pamela Tuthill
Pam has been with New Technology High School for many years. She worked on the planning team from 1993 to 1996 and has worked as the principal's secretary since the school opened in August, 1996. She even has a child who is a New Tech graduate! Pam enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking, reading and going to movies in her spare time.
Anne Vallerga
Anne Vallerga is Working with Juniors and Seniors on our Road to Success and post-high school plans. Before teaching, she worked for Habitat for Humanity and the publishing industry. She has two daughters and loves gardening, long walks, backyard barbecues and naps. Books on her nightstand right now: The Jaguar Smile (Salman Rushdie), In the Body of the World (Eve Ensler), and Uncle Tom's Cabin (Harriet Beecher Stowe).
