Theatre of War: Wars of the World

Posted by

Join 10th grade World Studies students for one of two special evenings of readers theater on themes connected to the world wars of the 20th Century. Performances take place in the Cybercafe on the evenings of May 15 & 17 from 6 to 8:30 pm.

We are in particular need of pro bono or discounted catering for a light meal that might be made available during intermission, given that these performances take place during everyone’s usual dinner hour. If this is something you might be able to provide, please let us know by emailing (Anne Seveska) and (Tom Serene). Thanks!

Saturday Academy this Week!

Posted by

This year our attendance at Saturday Academy has been lower than previous year’s.  Saturday Academy is a great forum for students to:

  • Recoup attendance from absences
  • Get targeted support from NTHS staff
  • Collaborate with group members on projects

We hope to see your student this Saturday, April 22nd, at 8:15 am.

Donations Needed For Senior Trip

Posted by

Hello Penguin Parents,

For our Senior Trip this year (June 2nd-June 4th), we would like to ask for donations of drinks and snacks.

On the nine hour drive to Anaheim, students generally want to have something to drink or snack on to keep them comfortable. The problem with Senior Trips in the past, however, that allowing students to bring their own snacks has occasionally led to inappropriate and illegal substances being brought along initially undetected.

Because our goal is to ensure that our students have a fun and safe time on their trip, we would like to bring snacks for them that we know to be safe.

If you are willing to donate, please bring your donations to the office between May 15 – May 31st. It’s important that you do not send your snacks with your student the morning of the trip because it will be too difficult to differentiate parent donations from student-brought snacks (which will not be allowed).
