alexander-yamPenguin Parent Club

We are the parents and family of New Tech students, organized and dedicated to enriching, enhancing and empowering students and teachers to excel and succeed. We offer social and funding support to create a vibrant, positive and cooperative school experience for families, students and staff.

The Penguin Parent Club (PPC) is a parent-driven club serving the community of New Technology High. We provide a forum for parents to participate and socialize with one another. Under the umbrella non-profit 501(c)(3) of FONT (Friends of New Tech), our fundraising supports students and teachers with enriching materials and activities.

All parents of enrolled students are members of the PPC. The membership elects officers to manage and organize PPC business and to interface with the school administration and staff. There are various committees available for parent volunteers to offer assistance to students and staff for special events, project panels and school activities.

We work to support the social and educational lives of students and staff and our fundraising dollars are spent with that in mind. We prioritize requests for programs, supplies and events for student enrichment that includes, but is not limited to: field trips, classroom supplies, lab supplies/equipment, sponsorship of student events and class activities and support of college and career-bound programs.
